Sofar Sounds has become a name synonymous with unique and intimate performances, as well as giving a valuable spotlight to under-appreciated artists. In August they put on a session by AKS and his band to a small selection of lucky appreciators in attendance. Fortunately, the performance of ‘The Dialogue (Talk To Me)‘ has now been put on YouTube, so we can all appreciate the impassioned and personal performance from the London rapper, as well as the soulful and grooving input from his extremely talented band. It’s a session that really captures a group of musicians absolutely in their element and on each other’s wavelengths, which the audience seems to have caught onto as well. The political but not preachy song leaves everyone feeling a bit more positive about humanity. Watch below.
