Rod Coote is a Australian indie-folk / pop based on the east coast in Newcastle.
The indie folk-pop artist has just signed to European-based record label Two Key Records, an imprint of Universal Music.
His latest song ‘Wild Pine’ featured in Alexrainbird’s latest ‘2021 Autumn playlist’ and accumulated over 1 million views in just over a month.
‘Wild Pine’ begins with the sounds of nature then Rod Coote beautifully blends together the gentle sound of the guitar with uplifting vocal harmonies.
The song then continues to delight by adding more rhythmic melodies into the mix.
The track was produced by Garrett Kato, who has also recorded music for similar artists Tones & I, Hollow Coves and Angus & Julia Stone.
