Aaron Carter has shared the haunting drawing Michael Jackson left him when he died.
The illustration depicts Jackson as a child and also features a quote from his song ‘Childhood‘. The quote reads: “Before you judge me, try hard to love me/Look within your heart, then ask/Have you seen my childhood?”
Carter shared a series of images on Twitter along with the caption: “Final thoughts before I final[sic] get some sleep…” The post included three images, two of which feature the drawing and another which has a full statement issuing some kind words about Jackson and his influence on Carter. See the tweet below.

“As I lay restless I remember this moment that happened at Wango Tango this spring. My mentor/friend Michael Jackson left this for me to have one day and many thanks to Raffles for gifting this to me at a much needed time. Looking back at my life, these words hold so much more weight today than they ever have. Thank you for all your gifts and most importantly the gift of music and love. I miss you immensely MJ.”
The singer and his girlfriend were recently arrested for alleged marijuana possession and driving under the influence. The pair have since been released on bail. Read more about the incident here.
