Deerhoof have released new music from the band members various side projects as the final offering from their 2017 Joyful Noise “artist in residence” series.
The newly shared tracks include music from Aye Aye Rabbit, Cover Band, Ascending Diagonals, and solo Ed Rodriguez songs. These are available now for digital download via Bandcamp for a pay-what-you-want fee. The proceeds from the sales will be donated to the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights, an organisation “that champions for the best interests of children who arrive in the United States on their own” from all over the world. The band released their newest album, Mountain Moves, on Bandcamp as an instalment in the “artist in residence” series. All the proceeds from the album’s sales were donated to the Emergent Fund.
