Dizzee Rascal and Wiley Twitter beef leads to death threats and underage sex allegations

Dizzee Rascal and Wiley‘s long-standing beef made a rapid resurgence yesterday (1st October) with the pair exchanging death threats and underage sex allegations on Twitter.

Anyone who has followed the U.K. Grime scene for the last decade will know that the pair were once close friends and collaborators. This all ended back in 2003 following an incident in Ayia Napa where Dizzee was stabbed.

In June, Wiley hit back at Dizzee over rumours that he had recorded a diss track aimed at him on his new album, Raskit. ‘The Other Side‘, the song in question, saw the MC mention Wiley  with the lyrics:  “Tell Willy I don’t need a penpal / Stop writing me these letters because I don’t know what to do with them / It ain’t ever gonna be ’03 or ’02″.

Shots have now once again been fired on social media via a series of relentless back and forth tweets between the former peers. It all kicked off with Dizzee claiming that he “was making Grime when Wiley was on Top of the pops with Pay as you Go and shacking up with school girls”. He also added: “I’m not the Godfather I’m GOD”, referencing Wiley’s recent album, Godfather.

Wiley hit back tweeting: “Dizzee you have 1 classic grime album you are not god and you haven’t helped anyone in grime except yourself”, claming that Dizzee’s career “wouldn’t have happened” without his help. See the tweets below.

Dizzee then went on to accuse Wiley of inappropriate behaviour with a 14-year-old girl tweeting: “I’ve never seen a Nonce so protected since Saville”.

Wiley denied Dizzee’s claims with the allegations prompting Tinchy Stryder to enter the argument disputing Dizzee’s side of the story.

During the argument, Dizzee appeared to make death threats towards Wiley. In a now-deleted tweet, Dizzee posted: “Wiley I know you think all this trolling is funny but one day you’re [going to] push me too far and I’m going to kill you. I hope you keep laughing”. More on this story as it unfolds.
