Grammy-nominated DJ and producer Gabry Ponte will represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with unifying dance anthem ‘Tutta L’Italia, following his victory at the debut edition of the San Marino Song Contest on Saturday night.
‘Tutta L’Italia,’ released in January 2025, shot to popularity as the soundtrack for Sanremo Festival’s 75th edition, Italy’s biggest music and arts celebration. Scoring #23 in the Italian charts, and over 9.1 million YouTube views on the official music video. Spurred by the people’s demand, San Marino soon extended an invitation for Gabry Ponte to compete to become their 2025 representative.
‘Tutta L’Italia’ is a captivating blend of Italian folklore and an authentic electronic beat, where mandolin, tambourine, and accordion come together to create a fresh, innovative twist.
The city of Basel in Switzerland will host the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with the semi-final taking place on Tuesday 13th May 2025, and the grand finale to follow on Saturday 17th May. Last year’s event saw over 163 million people tune in to the televised shows.
Gabry Ponte officially launched his career in 1998 as the producer of ‘Blue (Da Ba Dee),’ the global hit with Eiffel 65 that topped charts worldwide, selling over 8 million copies. In 2000, Gabry won the MTV European Music Award for Best Italian Artist in the World.
At the same time, he embarked on a successful solo career and today Gabry Ponte has over 5.5 billion streams to his name. He has collaborated with some of the hottest music stars around including Steve Aoki, Tïesto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Sean Paul, and leads charge on his own dance music record label PENTAPHONIA Records.
Gabry Ponte’s entry into Eurovision 2025 will be followed by his historic event SAN SIRO DANCE on 28th June 2025. Gabry will become the first DJ to ever headline globally recognised football stadium, San Siro in Milan, Italy.
