The Great Escape have announced a new beach venue for their 2018 festival aptly named ‘The Beach’.
The new site will house 2000 festival goers and provide two additional spaces to see some of the hottest acts the event has to offer. Right on Brighton beach, the venue will add to the festival’s family of 30 incredible venues and will feature performances from the roster of Island Records and more.
“With demand and drive for new music and an ever-expanding festival, creating our first, very own festival site on the beach is the most exciting news in TGE’s history and we couldn’t have a more perfect spot than right on the seafront,” said MAMA Festivals CEO, Rory Bett.
The Beach will become a magnet for music lovers during the festival and we can’t wait to open the doors.”
In addition to the new site, TGE have announced 80 more acts to appear at the summer festival including Superorganism, Tom Tripp, Nifuler Yanya, Tom Grennan and more. Check out the full lineup below.
