Gwen Stefani sued for inciting “stampede rush” at concert and injuring fan

Gwen Stefani has reportedly been sued by a fan for negligence following an injury they sustained at Stefani’s PNC Music Pavilion concert in July 2016.

It has been claimed that the singer incited a “stampede rush” toward the front of the stage after inviting attendees without assigned seats to come closer to the reserved seating area.

The plaintiff claims she broke her tibia following the No Doubt singer’s announcement to fans to “just fill in anywhere you like!” which caused the stampede incident.

Live Nation has also been named in the suit by the victim of the injury because, according to the suit, the company “[failed] to properly supervise Stefani… so as to prevent her from engaging in her negligent acts that resulted in the stampede rush.

The fan is now seeking at least $75,000 from both Stefani and Live Nation.
