Almost a week after model and actress Kim Porter passed away, authorities are still unable to find a cause of death.
An autopsy was carried out on November 16th, however, results were “deferred” and remain pending additional investigation.
A statement from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s office said: “On Nov. 16, an autopsy was performed on Porter. The cause of death was deferred pending additional tests. Porter’s body has since been released from our facility.”
TMZ reported that Porter had been suffering from pneumonia for weeks before her death – although it is unclear if this lead to the 47-year-old’s unexpected death.
Porter was found dead in her California home last Thursday.
Her funeral will take place at Cascade Hills megachurch in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia on Saturday.
It is expected that over 1,200 people will attend the service.
P Diddy, who fathered three children with Porter, recently shared his grief on social media in tribute clips of his ex.

Puff wrote: “For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship.”
