Kiss’ Gene Simmons, Paris Hilton, and others pay tribute to Hugh Hefner who has died aged 91

Following the death of the adult magazine mogul, Hugh Hefner, tributes have poured in from the music industry including Kiss‘ bass guitarist Gene Simmons, Paris Hilton, Jenny McCarthy and more.

The Playboy founder passed away in the early hours of this morning (28th September) at his home. He died aged 91 reportedly from natural causes.

The Kiss frontman, Gene Simmons, was one of the first artists to pay tribute to Hefner via Twitter. He tweeted an old picture of him with the caption: ”A great man, entrepreneur and innovator. Your legacy lives on. #Hef.

Kim Kardashian West also posted a string of tweets about the late Playboy founder sharing stories from their experiences in the Playboy mansion. See their tributes below.

Kardashian West tweeted: ”Paris & I are reminiscing about the Playboy parties at the mansion & how much we love Hef. She’s texts me the perfect Hef emojis.

Jenny McCarthy, who began her career as a nude model for Playboy, thanked the late Hefner for changing her life for the better calling him a “revolutionary“.

Heidi Montag, who also appeared on the cover of the magazine, thanked Hef and sent prayers to his wife, Crystal Hefner, 31, who he married in 2012.

Actor Rob Lowe also paid tribute adding: ”I had a number of great conversations and with Hugh Hefner. Was such an interesting man. True legend. What an end of an era!
