Over the weekend (3rd February) A man was arrested for stalking and attempting to kidnap singer Lana Del Rey.
The singer was due to perform a show at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida before the police received a tip about a man, 43-year-old Michael Hunt, who was acting suspiciously. It was brought to the attention of the police that Hunt was carrying a weapon and had tickets to the concert. It was also reported that the man has shared a number of cryptic messages to Facebook in the lead up to the Orlando gig.
Hunt, who is currently being held at Orange County Jail, has been charged with stalking with a credible threat and aggravated kidnapping with a weapon. Following the incident, the singer has assured fans that she is “doing fine“. The Orlando Police Department released a statement detailing the arrest of Michael Hunt. See below.

Last month Del Rey announced she was being sued by Radiohead for the similarities between her Lust For Life song, ‘Get Free‘ and the band’s 1992 hit ‘Creep‘.
