Lil Jon opens second school in Ghana

Lil Jon has opened another school in Ghana – just over a year after opening his first in the same area.

According to AOL, the school has enrolled over 300 children since holding it’s official inauguration in July of this year.

The 46-year old artist partnered with Pencils of Promise to open the new school, Mafi Atitekpo DA Primary School, located in the village of Mafi Atitekpo.

In a statement, Lil Jon said: “Last year I went with my family to open up my first Pencils of Promise school in Ghana, and now to have over 300 kids already enrolled in my second school there is incredible, it’s been really fulfilling to see the impact these schools have made on so many of these children’s and families’ futures.”

The ‘Turn Down For What’ rapper donated a total of $70,000 to get both schools started.
