Lil Peep, the notorious SoundCloud rapper who was made most popular by today’s emo-rap scene, has passed away aged 21.
Early reports suggested that Lil Peep, real name Gustav Åhr, overdosed on Xanax and Fentanyl pills. The New-York born singer, rapper and songwriter is a member of GOTHBOICLIQUE alongside Cold Hart, Mackned, Lil Tracy and others. He became popular with tracks ‘White Wine’, ‘Awful Things’, ‘Benz Truck’, ‘The Way I See Things’ and others gaining millions of views online.
Peeps manager, Chase Ortega, broke the bad news tweeting: “I’ve been expecting this call for a year. Mother fuck”.
