Liam Gallagher has released his highly anticipated debut solo album, As You Were.
The full release follows the previously shared tracks, ‘For What It’s Worth‘ (which came accompanied by a live music rendition) ‘Greedy Soul‘ and ‘Walls Of Glass’. Released via Warner Bros, the 15-track offering hosts a perfectly balanced sound, from big beefy tracks like ‘Greedy Soul‘ and ‘Wall of Glass‘ to Gallagher showing his softer side on ‘When I’m In Need’ and ‘I’ve All I Need’. Speaking about the influences of the record the former Oasis frontman muses: “I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space-jazz odyssey, It’s the Lennon ‘Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”
