Three previously unheard recordings from Green Day have been released online.
‘Stay’, ‘Maybe Forever’ and ‘Jennifer’ pre-date the iconic punk bands debut album, 39/Smooth – check them out below.
The recently-surfaced tracks were recorded at the groups opening gig for Killdozer at Berkeley Square on 22nd July 1989 – nearly three decades ago.
Towards the end of last year, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong confirmed that the band is gearing up to put out new material, two years since their last release ‘Revolution Radio’.
Despite a relatively quiet few years for the punk rockers, Green Day managed to make history in 2018 as the first band to go interstellar, providing an insignia on NASA’s InSight Mars Lander.
