Sú North, known for his hypnotizing alternative hip-hop tracks, has just dropped his latest single “Speedin (ft. Limbo)” – and it screams summer. While North and the acclaimed electronic pop songstress sit outside amongst friends, flashing animations mix with bright colors. North is shown with a bandaged nose and smile, an allusion to the track’s message; sometimes you have to go a little fast to live in the moment.
In speaking on the song, he describes its message as, “Freedom in not being perfect, freedom in trying things and failing, freedom in understanding that we are not alone in this journey called life.” There is an airiness in Limbo’s vocals that perfectly contradicts North’s pointed rhymes and catchy hook.
