After the success of The Jungle Book and Beauty and the Beast remakes, Disney revealed in 2016 that it was working on a live-action remake of The Lion King.
The trailer for this latest reimagining was aired during NFL‘s traditional Thanksgiving primetime game in the US.

The Jon Favreau-directed movie will feature the voices of Donald Glover, Beyoncé, Seth Rogan and Keegan Michael Key, amongst others.

The movie is due to hit cinemas on 19th July next year.
