Over the weekend Bon Iver debuted new music at two special shows with the contemporary dance company, Tu Dance.
Bon Iver & Tu Dance took place in North Adams, MA, at MASS MoCa and featured “a work-in-progress score” from the artist. Although Justin Vernon performed one of the new cuts last year in Richmond, VA, during a tour stop the new work will premiere officially at Saint Paul, MN’s, Liquid Music on 19th April.
Check out the new tracks below.
Don’t worry about the visuals, they were nothing special (at best), but new Bon Iver sounded tremendous tonight! Some of his boldest, most passionate, yet accessible music. Stunning singing, including a Leon Russell cover for the ages. @MASS_MoCA pic.twitter.com/onJL2aA801
