Watch Dave Grohl’s flawless Christopher Walken impression

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has proved he’s got his Christopher Walken impression down to a T in a new interview with Radio X.

During the interview, Grohl detailed a time when the iconic Hollywood actor, Walken, was introducing the band on stage during an episode of Saturday Night Live. The lead singer continues to describe the hilariously incorrect way the actor pronounced the band’s name after asking whether the accent is on the “‘Foo’, or ‘Fighters’?

Grohl decided it would be funny to trick Walken and tell him that the emphasised accent was, in fact, on the ‘Fighters’ part of the band name.

Whilst delivering the anecdote to Chris Moyles during the interview, Grohl revealed his stand-out impression of the actor. Watch below.

The Foo Fighters recently appeared on James Corden‘s Carpool Karaoke show where they performed a number of classic hits, played the drums together and covered Rick Astley‘s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up‘ with Corden fronting the band. Check that out here.
