Ed Sheeran, The National and Hot Chip were just a few artists among over 1000 to perform intimate gigs yesterday (20th September) as part of the global benefit concert series, Give A Home 2017.
The event saw over 300 intimate live gigs take place across 60 different countries with both renowned and emerging talent chipping in to help. Give A Home 2017 was organised by Sofar Sounds and Amnesty International to aid refugees.
Sheeran’s set took place in Washington D.C. in the home of Holly Branson, the daughter of Virgin entrepreneur Richard Branson, whilst The National performed in a living room in Edinburgh. The event included sets from John Hopkins, Moby, Laura Mvula, Emeli Sandé, Nothing But Thieves, Jessie Ware and more. See footage from the event below.
