Watch Jay Z and a festival crowd sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Beyoncé

Jay Z led a festival crowd in a singalong for his wife Beyoncé yesterday during his headline set at Made In America in Philadelphia.

The Lemonade singer is celebrating her 36th birthday today (4th September), so Jay Z asked the audience to help wish her well by singing part of Stevie Wonder‘s ‘Happy Birthday’.

Last week it was reported that Beyoncé and sister Solange are in the process of helping aid those affected by the devastating Hurricane Harvey in Houston. Beyoncé has teamed up with global charities through BeyGOOD, her philanthropic organisation, to provide necessities such as food, housing and medical help to those in need whilst her sister, Solange, has announced plans for a benefit show titled Orion’s Rise. Jay and Bey welcomed their twins Rumi and Sir earlier this year on 13th June and Hov has since revealed he booked his 4:44 tour for later this year so he can spend more time with them.

I booked the tour for October so I could have at least four months … to just really bond and see their fingers and shit like that. They’ll be with me [on tour] anyway, but I’m just saying, like, [I needed] a space where I’m not doing nothing, I’m just focused on them.
