Haim have shared Valentine, a new short film documenting the creation of the California pop band’s sophomore album, Something to Tell You. The film was shot at Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles.
The in-studio-film was shot by There Will Be Blood director Paul Thomas Anderson who also directed Haim‘s ‘Right Now‘.
The Oscar-nominated director has also been confirmed as the director for their upcoming single, ‘Little of Your Love‘. Anderson and Haim first came together when it came to light that the sisters’ mother was his art teacher.
Speaking about the film in April, Danielle Haim said: “You can really hear the room mics are really loud and us stomping around. Paul was adamant about wanting to hear Alana click on her pedal. You can hear that click when she does it and you can hear our heels and we were like, ‘Wow, this is crazy I can’t believe we pulled this off in a day.’”
