Last week, the Internet was dominated by a photograph of Justin Bieber eating a burrito from the middle.
The barbaric photo went viral, with many questioning why a fully grown man of Bieber’s notoriety was butchering the easy-to-eat, relatively self-explanatory food item – in a public place, no less.

However, burrito fans and Beliebers can rest easy – the entire thing was a hoax orchestrated by YouTube pranksters, Yes Theory.
The channel documented the entire process – which involved hiring Bieber look-alike Brad Sousa, a granny and a crusty blonde wig – you can watch the full thing below.
The video, which has amassed over 1,000,000 views, explains that the process behind the elaborate prank was more laborious than expected – the burrito image festered in the depths of Reddit after it was posted there, and the video of Bieber helping a hired grandmother cross the road didn’t even make a dent on the web.
The image didn’t go viral until it was bumped onto the Reddit front page, where it went from strength to strength, duping enough of us chumps to be featured on several national morning news channels and ESPN’s Around The Horn.
