Throughout the past few months singer-songwriters, Ali Taylor and Gary Wayne have been riding the wave of their joint single release “Showed Me Love.”
Receiving over 250k streams on Spotify alone, Ali and Gary have focused on sharing a message that truly would speak to their audience.
“Showed me Love’ is a song about that one person in your life who has always been there for you through the ups and downs. “I think we all have that one person in our lives who believed in us at a time when we didn’t even believe in ourselves,” Ali says. “Moments where you maybe didn’t even think you were worth all the trouble, but that one person lifted you up and cheered you on to become better. We wanted this song to speak to that.”
Coming up with the song inspiration of Zoom during the pandemic, Ali and Gary both knew they wanted to take this song to a session. They brought the idea over to their co-writer Adam Wheeler at Noble Vision and put together a lyrical masterpiece.
“We recorded the song with Matt Rovey and Adam Wheeler and had a lot of fun hearing it come to life. It’s crazy to think that it started when the world was shut down and now it’s out there in the world for people to listen to” express Ali.

From the vocals from both, the song overtakes the listener and makes them feel inspired. Throughout the past few weeks, we needed a reminder of how special someone can be within our lives. With “Showed Me Love,” Ali and Gary have created a song that will speak to many people for years to come.
“We hope this song can make them feel inspired and happy; that it reminds them of love, and that they can dedicate it to those people in their lives who have been there for them. That’s why we went in the direction of asking for photos from friends, fans, and family to use in the lyric video. We wanted the video to be a visual representation of what the song embodies,” tells Gary.
