Country newcomer Tucker Wetmore debuts ‘Dear Lord’ (Exclusive)

Country newcomer Tucker Wetmore delivers a raw, passionate, and unfiltered version of his single Dear Lord that gives the listener instant chills and a rush of emotions as soon as he sings the first line.

“I started playing piano when I was 11 years old, after my dad left,” he remembers. “Looking back, I realize I was looking for something to help me cope with some built-up emotions. Since then, music has always been my therapy. I see how much it has changed and affected my life, and if I can help at least one other person in a similar way, that would be more than enough for me.”

Tucker Wetmore knows his way around a country song. With his own life unfolding like one, Wetmore took his hopes of going pro with college football to picking up a guitar in his hometown, putting his feelings into songs that told stories.

Less than a year later, he moved to Nashville to begin chasing down his own version of the American Dream, sharpening his unique country sound with help from collaborators like Grammy-winner Chad Brown and co-producer Jesse Thompson.

He embraces that diversity in songs like the new country hymn “Dear Lord,” creating music that nods to his influences while still stepping forward into uncharted territory. This isn’t your grandfather’s country music, in other words. It is country music for the modern world.
