Teen singer/songwriter Jordana Bryant debuts a brand new pop-country anthem, “Had To Be There” exclusively with Music Crowns. With several successful releases under her belt this year, Jordana released her playful debut, “Guilty” in April, and most recently, an official visualizer for her latest “New Friends” which dropped earlier this week. The talented 17-year-old is paving her own path in the country music genre, expertly incorporating pop influences and authentic storytelling within each song, creating a sound all her own and resonating with listeners of all ages.
Co-written by Jordana alongside Zach Kale, Allison Veltz, and Seth Mosley, Jordana describes the feel-good track as a larger-than-life feeling, sharing, “I feel like there are some moments that are just so perfect that you can’t even describe them, you really just have to be there to understand how amazing they are, so I wanted to write a song about that,” Bryant explains, “Summer is always filled with these “had to be there” moments, so I’m so excited that we’re able to release this song before summer’s over and reminisce about their own “had to be there” moments, and I hope it makes them smile to look back on the memories that they could never fully capture in photos or words!”
With each release, Jordana pours her heart out to listeners, connecting with millions of viewers and her rapidly growing online fanbase. “Had To Be There” is reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s storytelling, paired with Kelsea Ballerini’s poppy instrumentals that brighten the message of the song. The result is a dreamwave country pop record that brings anyone tapping their toe.
