Coachella 2022: what to expect?

Coachella is a popular music festival in Indio, California. Coachella was titled after the Valley in California, which is near Palm Springs. The festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2019. Although the official start date is still 1993, when Pearl Jam gathered roughly 25k people in a stunning valley for their concert, the first Coachella was in 1999.

When Coachella became obvious the perfect location for big events, the organizers set out to devise a strategy that would benefit all parties involved. The first Coachellas were a bit of a risk, thus they did not attract a large audience or generate revenue. It was as if there were more black “star” vans than the transport of festival visitors. By the way, if you want to feel like a celebrity, just take a van for rent and put on your most stylish sunglasses – you are guaranteed complete immersion in the image. What an amazing convenient and affordable service it is – car rental. You can rent for a short or long term for absolutely any car. This is just a godsend for travelers and expats. After all, with a car rental service, you can afford to ride even those cars, the cost of which exceeds the budgets for a car familiar to a person with an average income.

By playing games with the format, Goldenvoice, the festival’s official director was able to figure out which one was best. Since 2012, Coachella has taken place in two stages (three days each) with a midweek break on April’s final weekend (when the festival initially drew over 100,000 music and outdoor fans). On the first and second weekends, the musical schedules are identical; the only difference is the surprise performers, who are two mystery visitors whose identities are kept unknown until right before the performance. The Festival attracted over 200 thousand visitors in 2016, with income approaching a new high of $100 million.

Coachella has been rescheduled and canceled a few times but the event’s planners have stated that it will return in 2022. Coachella 2022 will actually happen twice, on April 15th and 17th and April 22nd and 24th, according to official information. Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, H.E.R., and others performed at the most recent event.

Music

Coachella started as a tribute to indie rock, but now it has become the world’s most popular music festival. There are not too many events that can match this level of talent. The event’s size and brightness can only be comparable to Lollapalooza in Chicago and Tomorrowland in Belgium.

A large number of performers will take the stage in parallel in each of the festival’s participating areas. Various portions of the main stage, outdoor theater, Gobi canopy, Mojave canopy, and Sahara canopy are named after the world’s greatest deserts. Because all performances will take place simultaneously, it is best to plan ahead of time by knowing who will perform, where they will perform, and when they will perform. A better strategy is to go to the second part of the festival (the second weekend) when the first weekend’s live performances will be already available and pick the most wanted one to see.

Coachella’s lineup for 2022 has been confirmed. Among the performances are Billie Eilish, Kanye West, and Harry Styles. Billie Eilish will be the festival’s youngest headliner in its history. In 2011, Kanye gave a performance at Coachella.

Style

Coachella’s style is another distinguishing element. In terms of popularity, festival ensembles may have to compete with photos from the red carpet Grammys and Oscars. Year after year, Instagram accounts spread Coachella fashion vibes online. The weird mix of bohemian and hippy culture known as boho-chic reigns supreme.
