The collaboration between Paris-based Hanna Haïs and Düsseldorf producers Dante T. and Mario Da Ragnio has resulted in “Wekena,” a dark yet hypnotic Afro tech track set to release on 7 February 2025 via Donkela Records.
Hanna Haïs, renowned for her Afro house prowess, has been captivating audiences worldwide, with recent performances in Dubai and hits like “Carthago” and “Sitting Bull.” Her ability to blend hypnotic grooves with melodic elements continues to push boundaries in Afro tech. Recently she performed in Dubai, and as we can see in the cover picture seems it was a lot of fun!
Dante T., the curator of Düsseldorf’s iconic Afro house party “Alfazar,” brings a wealth of experience and a distinct approach to Afro house, while Mario Da Ragnio complements the duo with his expertise in sound design and melodic structures. Together, their chemistry is evident in “Wekena,” which showcases the strength of international collaboration.
