More Than Enough – Words fail me here… it’s a simply beautifully crafted, subtly powerful, evocative track with an R.Kelly-esque vibe but more pure. It leaves you wanting more, one of those songs you never want to end.
What if We – This track reminds me of UK artists such as the soulful Will Young and the late Lynden David Hall who never gained the acclaim I think he deserved. It stokes a feel-good emotion wrapped in love and as a constant with Troy’s work there’s a message in there that taps on the mind and heart.
Champion – This track is like a quiet whisper in your ear but at the same time a stern word of encouragement. The weaker of the 3 tracks in my opinion but still utterly pleasurable.
Watch out for Troy Horne, I predict a great future. One to watch for 2013!
