If you are not familiar with Theresa yet, that’s a name you might want to remember! In only 2 years, the pop singer has released 12 singles, amassed over 600K Spotify Streams, over 300K YouTube Streams and her music has been streamed over 2M times in retail stores across the US.
Theresa has no time to waste, indeed she is working full-time during the day and turns into a pop-start during the night. It’s a wonder how she manages to handle such a busy schedule but who are we to complain when she’s gifting us with great songs? What’s more surprising is that the singer from Long Island decided to pursue a music career when she was 39 years old. It is no doubt that she is empowering others to follow their dreams through her music.
After releasing the track uplifting ‘Magic’ in July, Theresa released a music video to accompany this song full of optimism.
Talking about the music video: “For a song with the title, “Magic”, I obviously wanted to create something that felt “magical” yet very much Theresa. I was able to collaborate with the fantastic Director/Editor Vincent Aliperti of Color Drunk Productions who brought my vision to life. Like the lyrics of the song itself, “I was lost in a land of confusion, held hostage in my mind for too long.” The video transitions from me in the “spiritual lab”, working up schemes to evolve and by the end I am set free, literally skipping in a bright new magical world I created by shifting my own thoughts. NYC-based Make Up Stylist Mariel Marino worked with me on both hair and make up and her unique artistry helped to make me feel so confident and beautiful (on the inside and out) which really shines throughout the video. The whole production process went seamlessly and I hope those who watch will come out the other side with the realization that sometimes we just need to dig deep within ourselves to create our own magic!” – Theresa
