Postmodern Jukebox are a musical troupe who have become well-known for their covers of well-loved songs. The band don’t just do ordinary covers: they transform the songs into jazz and blues-inspired songs which ooze class. The retro vibes can be felt throughout all of their songs and it’s apparent visually, as well. PMJ’s videos often go viral with their videos regularly hitting more than 1 million views. Their version of Radiohead‘s ‘Creep‘ currently has 39 million views on YouTube alone.
The band recruits singers and other musicians during their recorded covers as well as their stage shows. In their recent cover of Katy Perry‘s ‘Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)‘ they invited along Olivia Kuper Harris to on vocals. Check it out below.
The band often play throughout the world to give polished and high-energy performances. They will be embarking on a UK and Europe tour in 2018. You can hear more from the band and their upcoming tour by heading along to their socials.
