Chester Bennington was loved by musicians regardless of genre. After his untimely death, tributes poured in from all corners of the music industry, including a heartfelt tribute from the Brooklyn Duo.
The duo are married couple Marnie and Patrick Laird who met in 2006 at a chamber music festival. The pair is well known for their piano and cello covers, including a version of Shakira‘s ‘Empire‘ which the singer shared herself. After hearing the news about Bennington, the couple decided to cover Linkin Park‘s classic song ‘Numb‘ as they were both fans of the band. Check out the cover below.
